Holiday Package Booking and Payment Terms

1. General

These booking and cancellation terms apply to all fishing trip packages and holiday packages offered by the company. By booking a trip, the customer accepts these terms

2. Booking and booking confirmation

A booking can be made via the website's booking system or by contacting the company by email.

The booking is confirmed when the €150 booking fee has been paid. Payment is made by credit card.

A booking confirmation is automatically sent by email after booking and payment. The booking confirmation shows the content of the trip, the payment schedule and other information related to the trip.

If you have not received a booking confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact the company. Please check that you have received a Booking Confirmation because we will provide other useful information related to the trip.

3. Payment terms

The payment schedule for the trip is as follows:

Booking fee: €150 upon booking
Advance payment: 10% of the total trip price, payment is due 30 days before the trip starts
Final payment: the final payment is due on the same day the trip starts

The booking fee and advance payment will be deducted from the total trip price.

Unpaid reservations are considered canceled if the payments have not been paid by the due date, the €150 reservation fee is not refundable. Reservation fees will be used to cover administrative costs. If the advance payment is not paid by the due date, the trip is considered canceled.

4. Payment methods

Payment can be made:

by credit card when booking online

by bank transfer according to agreement

If the customer wants to pay by bank transfer, this must be agreed separately with the company.

5. Cancellation Policy

If the customer cancels the trip, the following terms and conditions apply:

More than 30 days before the start of the trip

Payments paid will be refunded
Booking fee (150 €) will not be refunded

30-0 days before the start of the trip

The trip is considered to have started
Payments will not be refunded

6. Cancellation process

If one of the travel party has to cancel, someone else can take their place without additional charge.

Cancellation: The original booker of the trip must notify the cancellation/changes in the travel party in writing and the above cancellation policy will apply from the date the notification is received. Cancellation must be made in writing to info@arcticwildriver.com.

The cancellation will be considered received from the date the notification is received by the company. The cancellation policy will apply from this date.

7. Changes to the trip

The company reserves the right to make changes to the program, for example due to weather conditions or safety reasons, in order to secure the customer's holiday as a whole.

8. Security deposit to secure customer payments

The company is registered in the register of providers of travel service combinations and has placed the security deposit required by law to secure customer payments.

9. Final cleaning

Final cleaning is included in the booking price only when it comes to normal cleaning (standard cleaning after accommodation). If the accommodation requires exceptionally extensive or thorough cleaning, for example due to parties, heavy soiling, misuse or unusual mess, additional cleaning costs will be charged after accommodation, based on the actual workload. Cleaning is charged at 50e/hour.

Guests are expected to leave the property in a clean condition (e.g. dishes washed, trash taken out, no large stains, spills, stains or other unusual dirt). Normal signs of occupancy and wear and tear are fully covered by the cleaning fee included in the reservation.

10. Travel insurance

The guest participates in all programs and activities at their own risk. We recommend that the guest has valid travel insurance or accident insurance that covers damages that occur during the holiday. It is recommended that the travel insurance is one that compensates for cancellation costs due to illness, accident or other unexpected reasons.
