Angler’s Edge Fishing Week

Fishing week for experienced enthusiasts. Freedom, guidance and top destinations in one package. The package is also suitable for families with children, a child permit (under 16 years) can be added to the fishing permits.

The package is designed for you who want to fish independently - but utilize the best of local expertise. You arrive in your own car and fish at your own pace, you get a guided trip where you see different places and fishing opportunities in the area.

During the week, you will receive comprehensive fishing permits for the top destinations in the vicinity of your accommodation, so you can focus on what is important: fishing

The package for 2-3 people fishing includes:

- high-quality accommodation near the fishing spots for 7 nights (including sauna access)

- 2 guided fishing days at two different destinations

- fishing permits near your accommodation for a week (6 days) including an introduction to the fishing areas

- riverboat safari for 2-3 people on a day of your choice or for a family (Mon, Wed, Fri)

Guided boat transfers to selected fishing spots

Includes:

- pick-up from accommodation and transfer to the boat (accommodation max. 15km from Utsjoki village.)

- boat transport to carefully selected fishing spots and a short local guide to the area in question

- life jackets for everyone on the boat. Throwing cloth/rescue rope and local safety instructions for the area in question as well as general emergency and safety instructions and the most important points about fishing regulations.

- pick-up as agreed and return to accommodation

- The fisherman must have paid the fisheries management fee. The payment can be made for a day (6 €), a week (16 €) or a whole year (47 €)

- A fishing permit for other fish species (20 €/day fisherman) in Teno/Tana river and disinfected fishing equipment

For an additional fee, it is possible to handle permit matters also through the service provider. Price per fisherman 150€/day (minimum 2 people), ask for a separate offer for a 1-person booking

Guided Ice Fishing Trip

Go see the Arctic tundra and spend a relaxing day in the peace of nature. You will get to ice fish in traditional fishing spots and at the same time get to know traditional fishing grounds and places. The fishing spot is usually changed during the day, as well as the target fish, depending on the mood: roach, trout, grayling, whitefish, pike and perch, roach.

The trip includes:

- A local guide for the day with strong experience in fishing and nature in the area

- Equipment needed for ice fishing (rods, bait, auger, etc.)

- Pick-up from and return to accommodation

- Snowmobile with petrol + personal sled and helmets

- Fisheries management fee

- Possibility to make a bonfire in nature and pot coffee during the bonfire, hot drinks and snacks
